Japan 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake and Tsunami Videos on YouTube

March 11, 2011 at Friday, a devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck northeastern Japan. The earthquake's epicenter is 130 km (81 miles) east of Sendai, in the Honshu island of Japan. It was a nightmare to Japanese people. The earthquake has caused serious damage to buildings, factories and infrastructure. Just a day after the earthquake, a 10-metre earthquake-triggered tsunami swept part of the country's coastline. So far approximately 4000 people have been dead in the earthquake and tsunami.

The earthquake caused a hydrogen explosion at Japan's Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant. Radiation leaking was confirmed by Japan Government. At least 170,000 people have been evacuated in the 12 mile radius around the Fukushima plants.
